"The Iconoclast II" is a 2x3" abstract watercolor representation of the Enneagram personality Type 5 with a Type 4 wing.

This piece is unique in that my technique of wet-into-wet for the background usually leads to a very soft-edged bloom of colors, whereas in this piece, the background strokes, while soft, are almost as strong as the deep amethyst purple and silver strokes on top. I love how each stroke works in a swirling composition, reminding me of waves and wind.
