"The Hostess III" is a 4x6" abstract watercolor representation of the Enneagram personality Type 2 with a Type 3 wing.

I start each of these paintings the same way; dipping a paint-loaded brush onto the surface of the wet paper, and letting the pigment spread and bloom organically. I love the little rays of color spreading off the edges of the background in this piece! The colorful strokes of the Type 3 wing on top remind me of a tropical bird or butterfly, making its way across the summer sky.
 
With hand-deckled edges, this painting would look amazing in a floater frame or shadow box!
